I am amazed at how we folks of faith like to sit back and destroy others and their efforts, while we are sitting on the sideline and they are at least trying something!!!!!! No man is perfect, but let's applaud their good efforts! I seem to remember a scripture about a speck in your friends eye..........

I agree with the plankeye sentiment. To be fair however, scripture says that our good deeds are as filthy rags. And that isn't talking about the kind you use to clean up oil smudges! It is not by works of righteousness that I have done but according to His mercy He has saved me. I praise God for that, 'cause no matter what anyone thinks about me or what I do, my Lord's grace is sufficient for me.
Yes....filthy rags in comparison to the glory of God. I make NO claim that our deeds gain us salvation...that is by grace alone.....however, faith without deeds is dead faith!!!! So my entire point is...stop knocking others "deeds" if we aren't doing anything ourselves for our fellow man!
